Richard A. Cooper

Richard A. Cooper was called to the bar in 1976. Prior to law school, he graduated from York University, where he majored in political science. He received his LL.B from Osgoode Hall and completed his articles at a large firm in Toronto. He moved to Kitchener in 1977, and has been proudly serving the Waterloo Region ever since.

Richard's practice focuses on real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. In addition to his practice, Richard publishes a weekly real estate law column in the Waterloo Region Record and is the winner of the Kitchener-Waterloo READERS SELECT AWARD for lawyers. He has also taught courses at Conestoga College and gives seminars at the Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board. Richard's articles are available for download under Articles & Seminars.

In his spare time, Richard plays squash and exercises at the YMCA, bikes (to and from Hamilton), and spends time with family and friends.
